Getting out of the takeout/take-home rut we got into over the holidays. Made lemon oregano shrimp in a white wine sauce with garlic and capers over jasmine rice.
As part of Christmas gifts this year, I made batches of different flavored salts for family and friends. You can either season a dish with a little added flavor, or use it as a finishing salt at the end. I really enjoyed the smokiness that burning the citrus peel imparted to this recipe.
