Birthday Party!

With my stepmother’s birthday coming back around, she requested the same dishes that I made for her 60th birthday a few years ago.

I couldn’t source all of the ingredients I needed, no cipolline onions available, so I made do with boiler onions instead. That actually added more color to the dish, since I did white and red onions.

I ended up making Short Rib Lasagne with Red Wine and Wild Mushrooms, Onions en Agrodolce, Cognac Braised Mushrooms, and German Chocolate Bombes. I’ll have separate posts for all recipes.
